Waste of Space

I bought Soundcurtain to achieve noise cancelling similar to what I know from my Bose headset. Listen to environment noise and cancel it out with white noise. Soundcurtain does not appear to do any of that. I get some ambient sounds like waves or rain and some pretty red lights. That.s it. No noise cancelling at all. Just some pretty noises to overlay on top of the ambient noise. What the heck? I feel completely misled by the description and advertising.
